I would like to thank you and give my deepest gratitude to anyone who took the time to come and visit this website, which is a representation of my lifelong artwork. It is my hope that you find some artwork on this site that you find interesting or inspirational.
My journey in art started with simple photography around late 1992, and it has since spanned nearly three decades and encompassed many changes and transformations through the years. Northern New England and the southwest of the United States are where all of my photographs were initially taken.
These particular areas of America were extraordinary and very inspirational in both grace and beauty. It was truly exciting and inspirational to explore and photograph. Naturally, the desire to photograph the land itself in New England grew strong, and the first six years were spent on the land mostly.
A big turn of events in 1998 changed my photography immensely. On the recommendation of a family member of mine, I started to add the human form to the land. A trip with a painter friend of mine to Sedona, AZ changed the photography and its purpose to this very day.
Sedona was awe-inspiring and the place of dreams. I was utterly shocked that a place this beautiful and majestic existed in America. It felt as if I had entered nature’s utopia. So, the background or stage for the addition of the human element into the photography started there in Sedona and the Greater Southwest.
Many photo shoot trips and hikes were taken to special sites in those days between 1998 and 2003. Those years will forever be remembered with great gratitude as the place of rebirth and a new direction in Art.
When initially exploring Sedona, I was blessed to find other young artists who wanted to work with me and pose with the surrounding nature and land. They, in essence, became muses in their own right and made some of their own ideas and dreams come to fruition. They would later become the backbone of this artwork.
Women who were brave and strong, yet still sensitive and humble to the powerful and spectacular nature that surrounded them. Indeed, this photographer felt extremely blessed by the universe to have worked with the greatest women and supporting men he has ever known.
I have eternal gratitude of the highest order to every one of them until the end of my days and beyond! Because they taught me humility, sacrifice, professionalism, and perseverance. But above all, they taught me something about the great mysteries of the gods of the universe and the divinity of truth and beauty.
In closing this greeting and journey, bless you all! May your journey in this precious life be one of profound love, beauty, and enlightenment!

I’d like to add that since I started this humanity plus earth artwork decades ago, a lot of things have changed dramatically in terms of both humanity and the sacred planet. Changes that have altered the very future and well-being of both.
Because of humans’ zeal to grow, prosper, enjoy, and progress, the delicate infrastructure of the Earth has drastically changed since I first started my photography in 1992. The Earth has suffered great losses in natural resources and deforestation.
There has been a sharp rise in atmospheric temperature due to human air pollution that has brought strong climate change, resulting in warmer oceans, devastating earth fires, and extinctions of many plants and animals. In 2019 and early 2020, there were severe droughts and devastating fires in the Brazilian rain forest and the Australian continent with billions of wildlife sacrificed.
This ever-widening imbalance between mankind and nature is threatening the foundational survival of all living species on Earth and now, humanity itself. A viral pandemic is affecting every country on Earth and infecting and causing many deaths worldwide. This artist will continue to pray for everyone, everywhere on earth and for an ending soon
You might think, “Why did I put this on my greeting and journey page?” Well, because my artwork celebrates the equality and coexistence between nature and mankind along or through the divine female. I feel the pain of this separation and the need to get up and do something about it as an artist and spiritual humanist.
I feel a calling and a responsibility to try and help in the best way I know how. These are serious times indeed for an artist with work like mine. I feel called to help. It’s that simple
But the skies are clearing, and climate clearing is happening as we speak because of mankind’s worldwide shutdown of pollution-causing factories, planes, and automobiles because of worldwide quarantines in place to shut down the viruses infection rate. Are the Earth and the powers that be sending a decisive message to human race?
Maybe it’s time to seriously heed the warnings of Mother Earth and the signs of the times. Either choose consumption change or face an insufferable Earth and eventual extinction in the not-so-distant future.
This artist wants to bring many artists together and band together worldwide to form a multipronged foundation for the preservation of both humanity and the Earth. It will be a permanent foundation because the task at hand is going to take a long time and a lot of devotion to bring man and Earth back to balance will be a very large job that will take many years.
But we can and must come together. I’ve been advised by many to do a large tour of my artwork outside of Japan, where I reside now after winning awards here. It’s time, and the moment is at hand!!
