Before i go any further i would like to say without the love ,connections and great generosity of my life partner Asako all the events on this coming page would never have happened! She was the key guidance and inspirational force that pulled everything together for myself and my artwork here in japan where all these early events have taken place. She is a great artist herself and she took alot of time ,resources and connections to to do just about everything. I’ve been very blessed to have her here in japan and her devotion has been quite amazing (I thank her from my hearts depth for everything she has done for me and my artwork)
I’m also looking for a sponsor/investor for many future projects and to form a new movement for climate change...mother earth and the female divine. I would love to find like-minded sponsors and investors for a new movement of international origin to make a voice to be heard around the world by many artists etc. I’ve been told that I should do an international tour of large scope by many friends and artists here in Japan. But that kind of project will need either a strong sponsor with both the reserves and connections to make that happen. I will make it well worth anyone’s effort, whether it be an individual or corporation, as long as the mutual connection is right. In all ways, I’m confident I have the art to make it happen. I’ve been at it 33 years now and committed my life to my art and I may also say my faith and spiritual being have been instrumental in keeping it in perspective and I thank god every day for that... I truly do. All my work is dedicated to the divine source of this great universe and I’m eternally grateful. I just want to get out there and help the best I can for the planet and the future generations to come.
I was introduced by Asako to artist and art Business owner Yashushi Yokoo in Tokyo where he has a fascinating Japanese traditional art business. We collaborated together to make an ancient scroll design which he designed and he used my imagery to print on an ancient gumpi or washi paper on a cloth scroll background. It was a great collaboration and he really is quite an amazing artist and mentor.
Yashushi Yokoo and I entered our collaboration of the piece Rock Thrown in the Senjin Shinkasen Festival in the Fukui Prefecture, and the artwork Rock Thrown received the Fukui Shimbun Award.
My first one artist exhibition entitled " Power Female"....was received and done at the Bumpodo gallery in Tokyo, Japan. It was just great to get going and get my artwork to the people after nearly 3 decades… Wow! Asako helped tremendously along with many others and we had a great time doing a show in Tokyo and meeting so many great people. It was quite humbling and meant so much to me.
We also had dance and some special speakers that contributed greatly to the show. I will forever remember and be indebted to everyone for such a fine reception of my sensitive artwork. It was turning point in my life and I’m so glad I got out and finally did an exhibition not found.....yea!....love to all who came and helped!
The making of gallery benzai in Asaka Shi Japan, Outside Tokyo, built personal art gallery in a beautiful place of three-story in front of a town park in Asaka. The main art gallery in on the top floor with a dramatic light exposure and setting of a glass roof and floor! The pictures of the light coming in on my artwork is breathtaking and fascinating to behold! It is my little heaven and bless Asako for helping to create this beautiful space!
“Art For All” International Exhibit and Competition in Tokyo at The National Tokyo Arts Center. The organizer was the International SUMI Enthusiasts Association. It was an honor for my artwork to be accepted there in such a magnificent international museum. I entered three large art pieces named "Earth Fire", “Rock Thrown" and "Mortal" of which all three received judges points and I was honored to receive an international artist award with a trophy. Omg!...me?....it really was so exciting and one of the greatest experiences showing my work and meeting so many great artists and wonderful people. My heartfelt thanks for the sponsors Tohun and Harumi Kobayashi who accepted and believed in me and my artwork! Bless them both and I am looking forward to exhibiting this coming January 2021!
All of my artwork is printed by me using the best printers and ink and papers in the world today with the strongest archival ratings and museum quality of 250 to 500 years. And thank you so much go daddy, you provide a great website experience! Deep gratitude for your service. Thanks and eternal blessing and good health to all in these challenging times.
